Curtiss Otten is a seasoned financial services professional with over 13 years of experience in advisor support, operational leadership, and regulatory oversight. Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, he has lived in six states, including a stint overseas in Japan, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance.

Curtiss started his career at Wells Fargo Advisors in the Client Contact Center as a Trading Service Representative. During this time, he earned his broker’s license and later obtained his Series 9/10 supervisory registrations. Over the following years, he moved into leadership roles within the Client Contact Center, eventually serving as a Team Lead in the Research and Resolution department. He then became a Senior Financial Advisor and Assistant Branch Manager before transitioning to a Branch Support Manager position, where he enhanced his operational and management skills.

He returned to St. Louis to join the independent channel as a Senior Governance Supervisor, partnering closely with advisors, branches, and internal teams, including Compliance and Risk, to support regulatory adherence and consistent governance practices across the network.

In his current role as Vice President, Advisor Relations at Gardens Wealth Management, Curtiss oversees governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and advisor engagement initiatives. He acts as a key liaison between advisors, branch leadership, and executive management, providing guidance and strategic support that helps ensure ethical business practices, operational excellence, and long term sustainable growth.

Curtiss is committed to giving back and supports organizations focused on hunger relief and education, including Feeding America, The Little Bit Foundation, and local food banks. He has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Outside of work, he enjoys reading finance related books, watching the Godfather trilogy, and reflecting on his first job at Zips Drive-In in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
