Terry Burns began his career in the securities industry more than 38 years ago with a specialist firm on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange. There, his leadership and commitment to ethical transactions were recognized, and he was elevated as a specialist member of the exchange and partner in the firm. As a specialist, Terry was directly responsible for creating fair and equitable execution for buyers and sellers in the marketplace. In addition, he was elected by a panel of trading floor governors to serve as a trading floor official.

In January 2006, Terry joined A.G. Edwards & Sons, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. Through continued professional study, he earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from The American College. In May 2025, he joined Gardens Wealth Management of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as a Managing Director.

Terry lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with his wife, Jeanne-Marie. They enjoy traveling together in their free time. His son Kyle is a graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Virginia School of Law. His son Tyler is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.
